Summary
Callbreak has no accounts, no ads and no analytics or tracking. Practice and nearby games stay on your phones. Only when you play with friends online does the app send the minimum our game server needs to run the game, and the server does not store it permanently.
What stays on your device
Your settings (language, sound, music, card sorting) and the display name you type for nearby games are saved only on your own device. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
Playing with friends nearby
When you host or join a nearby game, the app uses your local network (the same Wi-Fi or a phone hotspot) to find other players and exchange game moves and display names directly between the phones at the table. Nothing is sent to us or to any server on the internet.
Playing with friends online
When you create or join an online room, the app sends to our game server (play.wtdigitalsolutions.com):
- the display name you type, which the other players at your table see;
- a random player ID that the app creates on your phone (it is not your phone's hardware ID, and it does not identify you);
- your game moves: calls, cards played and room settings.
The server uses this only to run your games. It is held in the server's memory, not in a database, is not written to logs, and is deleted whenever the server restarts. We never sell or share it, and it is not used for advertising or tracking. Your internet connection's IP address is necessarily seen by the server while you are connected. To stop sending anything, simply don't use online play; uninstalling the app deletes the random ID from your phone.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If what the app sends or keeps changes, this policy will be updated before that version is released.
