Shabdle is a daily Nepali word game published by White Tiger Digital
Solutions Pvt. Ltd., for Android and iPhone. It does not collect, transmit or
share any personal data. This policy covers both versions.
What the app stores
The app saves the following on your device only, in the app's own private
storage — app-private storage on Android, the app sandbox on iOS:
Your current puzzle board and whether you have used the day's hint
Your statistics: games played, wins, current and maximum streak, and the
distribution of how many guesses your wins took
Your settings: hard mode, colour-blind palette, daily reminder and its
time, and whether you have seen the how-to-play screen
This information never leaves your device. It is not backed up to us, sent
to any server, or shared with anyone. Uninstalling the app deletes it.
What the app does not do
No accounts, sign-in or user profiles
No advertising and no advertising identifiers
No analytics, tracking or crash-reporting services
No location, contacts, camera, microphone or file access
No internet access. The Android release does not even request the
INTERNET permission, so it cannot send data anywhere even in
principle; the iPhone version contacts no server either, and works with
no connection at all
Permissions
Notifications — only if you switch on the daily
reminder. The reminder is scheduled on your own device by the operating
system; no notification is sent from any server. You can turn it off at
any time in the app's settings, or in your phone's settings.
Run at startup (Android only) — so a reminder you have
already switched on survives restarting your phone.
Sharing your result
When you tap “Share result”, the app hands the emoji grid to your phone's
own share sheet. You choose where it goes. Shabdle has no part in what happens
after that, and sends nothing itself.
Children
Shabdle is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone,
including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this same
address with a new date at the top.
